I rate Albon and really hope he does well, but personally think wrong move. Kvyat was promoted too soon, dumped and is fighting back. Not only does it feel like RBR hasn't learned to give a driver time (12 races for Gasly in his second season) but risks doing the same with Albon.
Most in the paddock assumed Kvyat would be the man elevated in this situation, if it happened. The thinking was it's too early for Albon, who is clearly very talented but inexperienced. Time will tell if it's another case of too much too soon.
This means a driver once dropped by Red Bull's junior programme replaces a driver dropped by Red Bull, who himself becomes teammates with a driver dropped by Red Bull's team and programme before being re-signed by Red Bull's programme #F1
Unbelievable opportunity for Albon, who in 18 months has gone from his career nearing a dead end with no funding to now landing a plum seat at the front of the F1 grid. Incredible #F1
