De toevoeging van een Grand Prix in Miami wordt door fans en coureurs gezien als de juiste stap voor de Formule 1. In Amerika ligt een grote doelgroep en met een tweede Amerikaanse Grand Prix probeert de F1 om meer fans te binden aan de sport. Binnen de F1-paddock is er dan ook veel enthousiasme over het nieuwe circuit.
