Max Verstappen won de Grand Prix van Frankrijk en deelt daarmee een grote klap uit aan rivaal Charles Leclerc in de titelstrijd. De Ferrari-coureur zette namelijk een DNF achter zijn naam. Zonder de druk van de Monegask won Verstappen de race glansrijk. Voor Carlos Sainz was het een mooie inhaalrace en Mercedes maximaliseerde met een dubbel podium. Dit plaatsten de teams en coureurs op social media en zo werd er op het internet gereageerd op de race op Circuit Paul Ricard van zondagmiddag.
