Internet reageert kritisch op Honda-nieuws: 'Dit is zo'n grote oplichterij'

Honda vertrok na de titeloverwinning van Max Verstappen in 2021 uit de sport, maar bleef de motorafdeling van Red Bull Powertrains steunen in het nieuwe seizoen. Nu heeft het Japanse merk officieel bevestigd dat het Red Bull Racing zal blijven steunen tot en met 2025. Niet iedereen op het internet reageert enthousiast op het nieuws.

Fans hebben voornamelijk kritiek op de bevriezing van de ontwikkeling van de motoren. Dat was namelijk een vurige wens van Red Bull zodat ze de komende seizoenen met de motoren van Honda konden blijven rijden. Nu het Japanse merk tot en met 2025 toch in de sport blijft, zijn fans niet blij met de regel.

This Red Bull Powertrains project is a farce. Red Bull is using Honda engines (which became very good) and will continue to use theme until 2025. I don't know why they label theme Red Bull Powertrains when they're Honda PUs.
