In Europa gingen de meeste Formule 1-fans slapen in de veronderstelling dat Lewis Hamilton de tweede plaats in de Amerikaanse Grand voor zich had weten op te eisen. Bij het wakker worden werden ze geconfronteerd met het nieuws dat de Mercedes-coureur (evenals Ferrari-collega Charles Leclerc) was gediskwalificeerd. Natuurlijk was dat voor velen aanleiding om daarop via X te reageren.

Feel some sympathy for Mercedes and Ferrari - the engineers have to calculate how low the ride height can be based on just 1 hour of practice on a Sprint weekend. On most occasions, it’s not a problem but at a track that’s become bumpier over time, it’s harder to guesstimate

So sickened by it all. The sport leadership, and some fans cannot handle that Hamilton is the GOAT on most podium wins - 191. They have stolen at least 2 world championships from him! I can’t watch.

Looks like red bull again paying the stewards of so as Hamilton don’t get second, Max prob crapping himself cause Hamilton got close to him. Prob ran to stewards and threw his dummy out. Red bull break the rules all the time and get a slap on the wrist.
