Bottas ontvangt een reprimande na incident met Vandoorne in VT3

In navolging van het incident tussen Valtteri Bottas van Mercedes en Stoffel Vandoorne van McLaren, zijn beide coureurs opgeroepen om naar de raceleiding te komen.

Bottas sneed, hoogstwaarschijnlijk onbedoeld, Vandoorne af in de laatste minuten van de derde VT. De Belg moest daardoor het gras op en verloor de controle over zijn bolide. Hoewel de schade beperkt bleef, is het nog even de vraag of McLaren in staat is om voor de kwalificatie de auto te repareren.

Reprimand for Bottas for the Vandoorne incident in final practice. Stewards say Bottas said it was his fault - hadn't seen Vandoorne "despite checking his mirrors and having heard a warning message from his team". Incident "not intentional or reckless"
