Marc Marquez now leads the riders' standings after claiming all 34 points at the Misano weekend.
Following the Italian Grand Prix, Marc Marquez was 102 points behind the leader in the MotoGP standings. That gap is now zero. After winning the San Marino Grand Prix and completing a perfect weekend at Misano, he has moved into first place.
Marquez is currently tied with Martin on points but leads the standings because he has won more Grands Prix so far this year.
The Ducati rider said after the race: "It feels unreal. But never give up, I will push until the end. This is not done, it is not over, but we are there in the championship. I'm fighting against very good riders, Martin and Bezz, but as we saw today, we are riding on the limit and a small mistake can cost a lot of points.
"Today it's true that during the race, after Bezzecchi's mistake, I was a bit too confident and then Martin attacked me, but then I regained the confidence, I kept the pace, and I'm happy because scoring 34 points in Misano means a lot."

It was a day to forget for Marco Bezzecchi. After he crashed out on Lap 1, he now trails Marquez and Martin by 33 points.
