Ben Hunt is an award-winning sports journalist, Sunday Times bestselling author, and strategic content leader with more than 20 years’ experience in global motorsport and international sports media.
He currently serves as a motorsport consultant at GPblog alongside his role as Head of Content & PR at the World Supercross Championship, while also advising brands, platforms, and stakeholders across motorsport and Formula 1 on content strategy, communications, and audience growth. His work combines elite storytelling with commercial insight, helping organisations build stronger connections with global audiences.
Hunt is the former Editor-in-Chief of Motorsport.com, where he led the editorial direction of the world’s largest motorsport website, overseeing international teams, shaping global content strategy, and driving audience and revenue growth across digital platforms.
Prior to that, he spent over 12 years as Formula One Correspondent for The Sun, covering more than 150 Grands Prix worldwide, breaking exclusive stories, and delivering in-depth analysis from the heart of the sport.
As an author, Hunt has written four Formula 1 books, including Growing Wings: The Inside Story of Red Bull Racing and Forever Forward: The Inside Story of McLaren, both of which became Sunday Times bestsellers. His work is known for its depth of access, trusted relationships, and ability to capture the stories behind elite performance.
Hunt’s core expertise spans editorial leadership, content strategy, global media relations, and brand storytelling. He is recognised for combining journalistic instinct with commercial awareness delivering content and campaigns that engage audiences and drive measurable impact.
