Ben Hunt

Ben brings over two decades of experience in motorsport journalism. He spent more than 12 years as Formula One Correspondent for The Sun, covering over 150 Grands Prix and breaking exclusive stories from the paddock.
In 2024 he joined Autosport as Chief Motorsport Writer, before taking on the role of Editor-in-Chief at Motorsport.comearlier this year. Since July 2025, Ben has been working as a freelance journalist and media consultant.
Ben is also a two-time Sunday Times bestselling author. Ben is author of four Formula 1 books – including Growing Wings: The Inside Story of Red Bull Racing and Forever Forward: The Inside Story of McLaren – both Sunday Times bestsellers.
