FIA start onderzoek na crash Floersh in Macau

Jean Todt, president van de FIA, heeft bevestigd dat zijn team de crash in Macau van Sophia Floersh gaat onderzoeken. De Duitse vloog aan het einde van het rechte stuk in de bunker van een fotograaf en ligt momenteel in het ziekenhuis met een wervelfractuur.

“Na het ernstige incident in Macau wordt de FIA gemobiliseerd om de betrokkenen te helpen en te analyseren wat er is gebeurd. We zullen de situatie in kaart brengen en de nodige conclusies trekken", verklaarde Todt op Twitter.

Afgelopen jaar stierf de Britse motorrijder Daniel Hegarty nadat hij tijdens de race in de muur klapte. Sinds 1973 zijn er al acht mensen overleden op het circuit van Macau.
