McLaren have won their tenth Constructors' title with Lando Norris' P3 and Oscar Piastri's P4 in Singapore. However, the Australian driver was absent during the team's podium celebrations. At the start of the race,
Norris got a great launch off the line, with Piastri unable to make the moves on George Russell and Max Verstappen ahead, he saw Norris get alongside going into the tight and twisty section from Turn 1 to Turn 3.
Norris got his elbows out, and having gone deep and made contact with Verstappen ahead, which damaged his front wing's left end plate, he then kept it stuck down the inside of Piastri hitting the Australian driver.

The incident prompted
Piastri's irked response on the radio, and even a request for the McLaren pitwall to intervene and swap the cars back to their original order. This request was denied, much to Piastri's dismay which was made evident with the Australian's criticism of Norris' manoeuvre.
In the end, Norris would go on to finish P3 ahead of Piastri. As usual, the rostrum finishing teams frolicked around the podium area in support of their drivers.
McLaren, though, were not simply celebrating Norris' podium finish,
but also their tenth Constructors' championship in its history in the sport, and the second on the trot. But Piastri was nowhere to be seen during the celebrations.
