McLaren managed to secure their second constructors' title in a row at the Singapore GP. How did McLaren secure the constructors' title?
Unlike in 2024, when the team won its title during the season finale in Abu Dhabi, the Woking-based squad have won this season's championship with six rounds to go. Here's how they wrapped it up ahead of time.

Australian GP :
Lando Norris won the first Grand Prix of the year, with only a Safety Car helping Max Verstappen to stay close to the papaya cars. After slipping onto the grass in the penultimate corner, Piastri fought back to claim two points.

Chinese GP:After Piastri finished second behind Lewis Hamilton in the Sprint and Norris scored a single point, the team secured its first one-two finish of the season on Sunday in the main Grand Prix.

Japanese GP:
For the first time in 2025, McLaren was beaten by Verstappen, but secured second and third place on the podium, enough to stretch the team's advantage over Mercedes.

Bahrain GP:
Despite starting only sixth, Norris fought back to secure a podium in third place, finishing behind race-winner Piastri and Mercedes' George Russell.

Saudi Arabian GP:Piastri won back-to-back Grands Prix after a battle against Verstappen. Meanwhile, Norris just missed out on the podium as he paid the price for a crash in Q3 in Saturday's qualifying.

Miami GP:
McLaren scored maximum points in the state of Florida, securing a one-two in both the Sprint and the race.

Emilia Romagna GP:
The McLaren drivers once again missed out on victory to Verstappen, but, similarly to Japan, completed the podium, extending their lead in the constructors’ standings.

Monaco GP:
Norris denies Charles Leclerc a repeat of his 2024 success in Monte-Carlo, but the Monegasque driver splits the two McLarens as Piastri settles for third.

Spanish GP:
After claiming the first row on the grid in qualifying, Piastri and Norris achieved another one-two finish in Barcelona. They are now nearly 200 points ahead of Ferrari in the standings

Canadian GP:
The two McLaren drivers crashed in the race after Norris’s eager move on the start/finish straight. Only Piastri scored points, finishing fourth in Montreal. Norris took full responsibility for his race-ending accident.

Austrian GP:
After their crash in Montreal, the McLaren drivers responded in positive fashion. Norris's win in Spielberg secured a one-two, finishing around 20 seconds ahead of Charles Leclerc.

British GP:
Despite the chaos in the rain, the McLaren drivers confidently finished first and second again. Piastri missed out on the victory after a time penalty as Norris won his home race.

Belgian GP:
After missing out on the Sprint victory for the second time this season, Piastri leads another McLaren one-two on Sunday to open up his lead in the drivers' championship.

Hungarian GP:McLaren secured a fourth one-two in a row at the Hungaroring. Piastri locked up during the final laps while chasing his teammate but didn't make contact with the Briton, who finished in P1.

Dutch GP:
After Norris’ DNF during the final laps, only
Oscar Piastri scored points for the team in the Netherlands. He took all 25, however, while both Ferrari drivers had to retire in a big blow to their slender title hopes.

Italian GP:As at Imola, Verstappen defeated the two McLaren drivers in Italy. Norris finished second after Piastri was told to let the Briton through to make up for a mistake by the pit crew.

Singapore GP:At the Marina Bay Street Circuit, McLaren failed to mimic their performance from last year, with Mercedes and Verstappen pipping them in the qualifying session. During the race however, Norris was able to jump ahead the Italian rookie
and his own teammate to lead a P3-P4 result home for the Woking-based team.
