Andrea Stella and Zak Brown shared their thoughts on McLaren’s second consecutive Constructors’ Championship triumph in Singapore.
“Unbelievable team here, unbelievable team back at the factory”
- Zak Brown
The McLaren CEO commented on the team’s second consecutive title, saying: “Unbelievable team here, unbelievable team back at the factory. All the men and women have done such an awesome job.
The leadership that Andrea has provided to this race team, the whole leadership team, our owners, our shareholders — it’s such a team effort, and pretty awesome to go back-to-back. It’s been a while since we’ve done it.”
Team Principal Andrea Stella added: “It’s an incredible emotion. I want to share it with the team and thank them for the incredible work. I mean, even with six races to go — which looks unbelievable — but that’s thanks to the great work that has happened at McLaren.

Thank you to our fans, our sponsors, and all our technical partners. It’s teamwork, and it’s great to see that teamwork rewarded like this.”
When asked whether the winning streak could continue next year, Stella concluded: “We are definitely working very hard to continue this streak of wins into the future with these big changes in technical regulations. We know it’s difficult, but it’s an undertaking that we’re all fully committed to.”
Finally, Brown had high praise for his two drivers: “They’ve driven brilliantly all season. You can’t win the Constructors’ without two awesome racing drivers.
As you can see, we’re letting them race — that one was a bit more of a nail-biter! But they race hard, they race fast, they race to win. There’s still a lot of racing ahead, and hopefully more victories to come for both of them.”

An eventful race for McLaren in Singapore

Although the win slipped away, McLaren still had reason to celebrate on the podium, clinching the Constructors’ title thanks to Lando Norris’s third-place finish. The Brit got off to a strong start and pulled off a tough overtake on his teammate, which left Piastri complaining heavily over the radio.
The two made light contact, with Norris losing part of his front-wing endplate, but he managed to bring the car home without any major aerodynamic issues — while Piastri had to settle for fourth.
