F1 analyst Peter Windsor analysed yet another difficult weekend for Ferrari in Singapore. “Ferrari were nowhere, not a very good day for them”
- Peter WindsorSpeaking about the Maranello team’s race on his YouTube channel, Windsor stated: “Ferrari were nowhere. Charles got the jump on Lewis out of the first corner, which would have annoyed Lewis.”
Windsor highlighted Hamilton’s excellent strategy, which briefly allowed him to overtake both his teammate and Kimi Antonelli, before ultimately having to give up due to the brake issues he encountered in the final laps.
“Lewis came in for soft tyres, having gone from medium to hard. He came in for softs again near the end, did very well on them, got all his positions back and passed Charles — but then ran out of brakes before the end and finished behind him.
Ferrari were seventh and eighth — not a very good day for them. Charles Leclerc was unable to do anything, really, about Kimi Antonelli.” Lewis Hamilton speaking with the media during the Singapore Grand Prix - Photo: RacePictures.
