According to recent rumours, Apple is reportedly close to finalising a deal with Formula 1 to secure the broadcasting rights in the United States. A recent Puck newsletter by John Ourand, the Cupertino-based company is reportedly close to finalising a deal to stream Formula 1 events on the Apple TV+ app.
The announcement, the report suggests, could be made during the next round of the season at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin — the second of three American races on this year’s calendar.
The current rights holder in the United States, ESPN, should the reports hold water, would finish out the 2025 season before handing over the broadcasting reins to Apple starting next year.

It remains to be seen whether the deal, should it be finalised as rumoured, will grant Apple exclusive broadcasting rights, or if Formula 1 will continue to air races simultaneously through its own
F1 TV platform.
