Ferrari driver, who spoke in an interview via Australian outlet Body and Soul, revealed that he would probably be a Padel player if he weren’t racing in Formula 1.
“I love padel. I think if I had more time, I could be pretty good at it. But I don’t really have time. And honestly, I’m okay with that.”
Padel - a racket sport in the mould of tennis – has over the years developed into a famous sport within several drivers in the Formula 1 circle, and Leclerc, like many others, often takes part in sessions with his fellow drivers.

Leclerc on who he had invited for a hot lap
Leclerc was also quizzed about which individual he would like to invite for a hot lap around an
F1 circuit. The Monegasque driver, speaking to the outlet named Track and Field icon, Usain Bolt.
“Usain Bolt. He’s used to being fast, but in a car, I think he’d be very surprised”
The retired Jamaican athlete is, however, no stranger to how fast a sports car can go around a race track and in 2017, Leclerc’s Ferrari teammate,
Lewis Hamilton, took Bolt for a spin around the Circuit of the Americas in the United States. The 39-year-old would enjoy a repeat of such an experience during the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Shifting focus back to racing action, the 2025 campaign have largely unfolded in a challenging manner for Leclerc and the Ferrari outfit. The 27-year-old, alongside
Hamilton, could only register a sixth and eighth place finish during their outing at the Singapore Grand Prix.
