Isack Hadjar has explained why he believes Nico Rosberg is less talented than Lewis Hamilton. “He was not gifted like Lewis.”
- Isack HadjarSpeaking to The Telegraph, Hadjar was quizzed about the possibility of pursuing a career in science while combining it with racing. He hinted that this might have been a factor behind Rosberg’s championship success in 2016.
“That’s how he got to fight against Lewis. It was definitely not with his talent, i don’t mean to be rude,” he added.
“It’s just, for me, Nico was not as talented as Hamilton – and he knows it. He was not gifted like Lewis. But he fought with him very hard. Because up there, he was making the most of his guys around him and the car.”
“I heard good stories about him. In GP2, he was impressive. He was doing the set-up himself. He’s a very smart guy. That is what I want to be able to do.”

Formula 1. Hadjar concluded by describing how inspiring the career of the Scuderia
Ferrari driver has been to him.
The 21-year-old shares a good relationship with Hamilton, and after the Dutch Grand Prix–where Hadjar clinched his maiden podium–the seven-time world champion congratulated him on his top-three finish.
