Ferrari is determined to return to winning ways in Formula 1 amid a challenging 2025 campaign. "Last time, we made a commitment to win in racing. We did it with the 499P in Endurance, but in Formula 1 we have to improve. We have to win because we owe it to our loyal fans around the world."
- Benedetto VignaFerrari’s current year has not gone as the team might have imagined. After narrowly missing out on the constructors’ title to McLaren last year,
they are now being referred to as the 'fourth force.'According to Executive Chairman John Elkann, it is a 'personal matter' to bring the team back to the top.
Speaking at the Capital Markets Day 2025 event, he began: “Ferrari is unique in three dimensions: tradition, technology, and racing.
"The perfect combination of these three souls defines Ferrari. Racing, a history that began on the track almost 100 years ago, defines who we are.
"I want to be clear: this is a personal matter. My commitment is, as Chairman, as majority shareholder, and above all as someone who has lived Ferrari as a lifelong passion. I am committed to ensuring that every decision we make strengthens Ferrari’s uniqueness."

The Executive Chairman continued: "I am committed to our people, whose talent and dedication are the greatest guarantee for our future. I am committed to our beloved Ferraristi who entrust us with their dreams."
He also touched on the Italians' continued success at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
"I am committed to our loyal fans, eager to see us win in F1 as we are winning in Endurance. And it's with pride that we took home the trophy after three consecutive victories at Le Mans this year. Forza Ferrari, always." Benedetto Vigna, the team's CEO, added: "Last time, we made a commitment to win in racing. We did it with the 499P in Endurance, but in Formula 1 we have to improve. We have to win because we owe it to our loyal fans around the world."
Ferrari yet to score a victory in F1 this season
The Scuderia is the only frontrunner team this season without a Grand Prix victory.
Lewis Hamilton did win the team’s first-ever Sprint in China, while Charles Leclerc has finished on the podium five times. However, a Grand Prix victory is yet to materialize, but a victory is yet to materialize.
The last time Ferrari went an entire Formula 1 season winless was more than three decades ago in 1993.
The season continues with the US Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas,
where the Italians achieved an outstanding one-two finish a year ago.
