Mercedes boss Toto Wolff thinks that the latest two races in China and Bahrain have proven that the F1 should remain more patient in its decision-making and should stay away from making "erratic" decisions when it comes to the sport's future.
The management, the drivers and the fans were all left asking for more after the first race of the season proved to be a very dull one. Then we got that little bit more as the next to races in Bahrain and China had plenty of drama, spectacle and everything you'd hope for in a good F1-race.
However, after that first race, there were already efforts being made to improve overtaking in the future, which led Toto Wolff to criticize the management for its lack of patience.
"It shows that we are a little bit erratic with our decisions, and one race makes people try to do things that maybe are sometimes not necessary," the Austrian told Autosport.
"This is the way the Formula One had always been [in its management].
"[In China] we had a first stint that could be judged as boring and then an unbelievable second half of the race, that's just how it is and we have to accept it.
"There are good football matches and there are bad football matches."
