The first Formula 3 feature race of the weekend begin with a multi-car pileup at the Madring. Luckily, every driver involved in the incident is OK.
This weekend, the final weekend of the Formula 3 championship ends with two feature races instead of just one.
Immediately on the first lap, the red flag was waved after multiple incidents happened simultaneously at the narrow track. First, two Van Amersfoort Racing cars, driven by Enzo Deligny and Bruno del Pino, came together at Turn 7.
Meanwhile, in the background, Maciej Gladysz's ART Grand Prix car also went airborne, as he could not slow down in time after the rest of the pack reacted to the earlier incident ahead.

After being involved in the incident, the aforementioned Gladysz and Deligny, as well as Jose Garfias, Fernando Barrichello, Michael Shin, and Nicola Lacorte, cannot continue today's feature race. Noah Strømsted and Fionn McLaughlin were also involved, but have recovered to the pit lane. Luckily, all drivers are OK, the championship confirmed on social media.
The first feature race of the weekend will continue at 18:35 local time (17:35 BST).
