Verstappen annoyed by Madring question: 'We could talk about this forever'

Max Verstappen cut short a question about where the Madring circuit ranks during Saturday's press conference. "We could talk about this forever...," the Dutchman summed it up.
After qualifying in second place behind Kimi Antonelli, he was asked about how difficult overtaking will be on Sunday at the Spanish Grand Prix.
The Mercedes driver explained that he expects it to be quite a challenge. He began: "I think Monaco is probably still a bit more intense, but also this track takes quite a bit of effort just to try and put the lap together. And overtaking, yes, I think it's going to be very difficult.
"In practice, I spent two laps behind the Williams trying to painfully get past, but just really difficult, especially because already the degradation is quite big, and when you're behind, you start sliding more, and it just makes your life a bit tougher.
"So, yeah, the only thing you can do is trying to put pressure on the current front, trying to make them do a mistake or make them make them deg a bit more, and then I try to play with strategy. But, yeah, especially when you have a very similar pace, it's difficult to make a move."

Verstappen jumps in
When Antonelli was once again asked where the Madring ranks in comparison to Monaco, Jeddah and Singapore, he replied, "It's there in the middle, I think," before Verstappen interrupted with a comment of his own: "It feels like Madrid."
The Mercedes driver also agreed, and then Verstappen concluded: "I mean, we could talk about this forever, but it's the Madrid track."
Verstappen reacts to top three finish in Spain

The Dutchman set the third-fastest time today, finishing ahead of the two Ferrari drivers and George Russell as well. "For us it was a very good qualifying. For me to be third is a great result.
"The car felt quite decent in qualifying and I could attack corners the way I liked, so for us this qualifying is a very good result."
