Formula 1 is finally set to return after almost a month-long forced break - here’s how and where to follow the Miami Grand Prix this weekend. Everything is set for the fourth round of the 2026
F1 season, with the opening three races having highlighted Mercedes’ clear advantage over the rest of the field. However, the latest rule tweaks have given fans hope that Miami could produce a different picture, even though the changes introduced were not designed to shake up the pecking order, but rather to address some of the issues that emerged at the start of the season.
Starting with the home audience, American fans will be able to follow the event on Apple TV, which has become Formula 1’s official broadcaster in the United States from this year, with coverage available across multiple devices including smartphones, tablets, smart TVs and via the web through tv.apple.com.
Fans in the UK will be able to follow the entire Miami Grand Prix weekend live on Sky Sports F1, while highlights coverage will also be available on Channel 4. In Australia, viewers can tune in through Fox Sports, Kayo Sports and Network 10 to follow all the action.
Canadian fans will instead be able to watch the event live on TSN and RDS, while F1 TV Pro will only be accessible in selected regions around the world depending on broadcasting rights restrictions. Elsewhere, Spanish viewers can follow the weekend through DAZN, while Italian fans will once again be able to watch every session live on Sky Sport F1.

Weather expected to play a key role in this year's Miami Grand Prix
Formula 1’s return to Florida could come with the threat of
a weather-affected weekend. While Friday and Saturday are expected to remain hot and mostly dry, conditions could take a dramatic turn on race day. The opening day of the weekend, featuring the only free practice session and Sprint Qualifying, is forecast to see temperatures of around 31°C under partly cloudy skies, with only a minimal chance of rain.
Saturday is expected to stay similarly warm, with temperatures climbing slightly higher as both the Sprint and qualifying for Sunday’s race take place. Sunshine should dominate for most of the day, although the possibility of rain is set to increase slightly.
The biggest concern, however, is Sunday. Thunderstorms are currently forecast across Miami Gardens from the morning onwards, with wet conditions potentially lingering into the afternoon during the Grand Prix itself. Temperatures are expected to hover around 28°C, while the chance of rain currently stands at 70%.
