Max Verstappen has achieved his target at the 'Green Hell' on Saturday: the Dutchman now has a DMSB Permit Nordschleife, which means he can drive the Verstappen.com Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 there moving forward.
The four-time world champion's presence drew many to the series at the legendary circuit.
On the Auto Addition YouTube channel, Race 7's broadcast with English commentary surpassed a million views, with the count currently standing at 1,389,000. The German-language live stream reached a further 520,000 viewers.
Throughout the four-hour race, a further 137,000 people tuned in to the series' live stream on YouTube as well.

Verstappen to return to the Nordschleife soon

The four-time world champion's race could introduce many new fans to the series and the world of GT3 and GT4 cars.
The Dutchman is outspoken on his passion for endurance racing, and has the goal of participating in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.
Verstappen's target of obtaining a license is not only to compete at the Nordschleife after his Formula 1 career, but to do both simultaneously.
If he doesn't compete at the track once over two years, he will lose his license, and have to start from scratch.
Running that event will already be possible next year, as it will not clash with the Formula 1 calendar. The race in Germany will run from 14-17 May, in between the Miami and Canadian Grand Prix.
While it is conceivable that he will first compete with a GT3 car at the 'Green Hell' only then, it is likely that he will return sooner to drive at a shorter event.
Inside the paddock in Germany, there was a rumour that this would take place on 27 September. Should that not happen, 11 October is an alternative option.
