Jos Verstappen about possible teammate Max: 'I don't know how good he is'

Jos Verstappen says he doesn't know anything about his son Max Verstappen's next teammate yet. Alexander Albon has been under pressure for some time now and Sergio Perez' name is increasingly being mentioned as a replacement for the Thai.
"The start of next season is more important than the end of this season. If we can start like this early next year, we have a chance", says Verstappen senior at the table at Peptalk. The father of' is satisfied with the progress made at the end of 2020, but knows that this has to be continued in 2021.

New team mate of Verstappen?

Rumours have it that not Albon, but Perez will be driving alongside Verstappen. Jos Verstappen does not want to know anything about a possible replacement. "No, I really don't know. I haven't heard anything yet. Otherwise I would have known."
Verstappen senior also doesn't know if Perez will be the right choice to drive next to his son. "Let's wait and see where he stands in relation to Max and Albon next year. I don't know how good Perez is", he concludes.
