Lando Norris may have mastered the tricky conditions at Interlagos, but handling a bottle of champagne proved considerably more difficult for the McLaren driver during the Brazilian Grand Prix podium celebrations.
After taking victory in São Paulo, Norris was preparing to celebrate alongside Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar when things took an unexpected turn.
As the Briton slammed his champagne bottle against the podium floor to get it spraying, it suddenly snapped in two, leaving him holding the broken remains instead of celebrating with his fellow podium finishers.
Norris immediately burst into laughter at the bizarre mishap, while Verstappen and Hadjar took full advantage of the situation, soaking the McLaren driver with their own champagne. With no functioning bottle to fight back, the race winner could do little more than laugh as his rivals continued their celebrations.
