Lewis Hamilton offered some advice to Oscar Piastri ahead of the season’s final stretch, as the Australian continues his title fight against his teammate.
“Don’t give up any places. That’s what I would say”

After offering his advice to the Australian, the seven-time world champion added that although Piastri is fighting for the title for the first time, he already has the experience to make the right decisions when it matters.
“It’s not that it’s his first championship that he’s fought for. He has obviously competed in championships for many years, so there’s not really much that I can say.”
He finally added: “I have not spoken to him, so I don’t know what frame of mind he is in.”

Steiner claims McLaren should go all-in for Piastri

Former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner also weighed in on what happened in Singapore between Norris and Piastri, stressing that “what they put on in Singapore was not a championship show.”

Both Norris and Piastri attended the celebration of McLaren’s second consecutive Constructors’ Championship, which the team marked at the MTC in Woking together with the entire company.
Although tensions had flared after their first-lap collision — a moment that particularly frustrated Piastri — the pair have temporarily buried the hatchet, putting the team’s interests and the championship goal above all else.
