Fernando Alonso has tried to outline what Aston Martin’s target could be for the remainder of the season.
"This one was one of those that we hoped we could score points. Maybe another two or three will be possible"

Speaking after the race, the two-time world champion said: "I think we will score points in few races. This one was one of those that we hoped we could score points. Maybe another two or three will be possible."
Alonso believes Aston Martin must make the most of the weekends where scoring points is possible, to make up for those where it won’t be.
"We know that two or three weekends is not going to be possible to score points, so we need to learn how to operate better on the track side. Even this weekend we started really strong and we went backwards a little bit on the car performance. So these kind of things we need to keep improving for next year."

Alonso inherits P7 in Singapore after Hamilton's penalty

The seven-time world champion was investigated for an alleged breach of Article 33.3 of the FIA Sporting Regulations after appearing to run off track without justification. Struggling with fading brakes in the closing laps, he eventually lost ground to Antonelli and Leclerc.
Even so, Hamilton managed to keep the car on course and reach the flag — though several excursions beyond track limits showed how much he was fighting for control — crossing the line just inches ahead of Alonso.
That dramatic finish reignited long-standing tensions between the two, with Alonso venting his anger over team radio in a frustrated outburst.
Hamilton later chose to lighten the mood through his Instagram stories the following day, sharing a series of clips from the sitcom One Foot in the Grave, where the main character repeatedly shouts, “I don’t believe it!” — a clear nod to Alonso’s heated outburst.
