Formula 1 has released its power rankings for the Singapore Grand Prix, with a perfect score and a change to the top of the overall rankings occurring after this weekend.
That performance resulted in the Brit receiving a perfect score of ten from the five-member jury, while another interesting weekend for McLaren also changed things in the overall standings.

Russell's 'perfect performance' leads to perfect score

"Russell’s weekend started with a trip to the barriers in Friday practice, but he bounced back in style on Saturday to claim an inspired pole position and followed it up on Sunday with a cool, calm and collected drive to victory. A perfect performance in the eyes of all our judges," was the verdict of the jury after his Singapore win.
Behind the 27-year-old was Max Verstappen with a score of 8.8, holding onto his P2 from qualifying to finish behind the Mercedes driver on track, despite coming under pressure from Lando Norris in P3.
Carlos Sainz's epic recovery drive that saw him start at the back of the grid to then finish in P10 earned him a score of 8.4 as did a fine P9 finish for Oliver Bearman. Along with a tie for third place, Kimi Antonelli and Fernando Alonso also could not be split in fifth, with an 8.2 grade handed out to the youngest and the oldest drivers on the grid.

Piastri displaced at the top amid dip in form

The McLaren drivers were next in the rankings, with Norris' third place giving him a score of 8.0, despite his lap 1 contact with teammate Oscar Piastri and the 'papaya rules' chatter that filled the paddock once again.
Due to that incident, Piastri saw his championship lead cut once again, with a P4 finish in Singapore all he could muster after losing out to Norris at the start.
His fourth place only scored him a 7.4 grade, tied with Isack Hadjar in eighth place, and that was enough to see his overall lead in the power rankings slip to Verstappen, with the Dutchman now leading thanks to a 8.3 season average compared to Piastri's 8.2 score.
