F1 Full Results | McLaren dominates again as Verstappen still struggling massively

Just like in the first session, McLaren once again proves to be in a league of its own in FP2. It’s Norris who steals the spotlight again, finishing nearly three tenths clear of his teammate.
Charles Leclerc secures third place once more, just a tenth behind the Australian. Strong showing from Aston Martin as well, with both cars finishing inside the top 5.
Meanwhile, it was another tough session for Max Verstappen, who ended up outside the top 10 with the 14th-fastest time, over a second off the pace.

How do the teams and drivers enter the Hungarian Grand Prix?

McLaren claimed another one-two finish at Spa-Francorchamps. At the Belgian Grand Prix, it was Lando Norris who started from first place, but after a mistake into Turn 1 following the rolling start, he was overtaken by Oscar Piastri on the Kemmel Straight.
The Australian did not look back, and claimed all 25 points. Norris finished in second place, with Charles Leclerc completing the podium.
The previous season, McLaren also secured a one-two finish in Hungary, and Oscar Piastri also managed to claim his first ever victory in the competition.
After winning the Sprint, it was a Sunday do forget for Max Verstappen. The Dutchman finished in P4 behind Leclerc's Ferrari, and questioned the FIA's decision to delay the start.

The Hungaroring

This year, the 40th Hungarian Grand Prix will take place. The Hungaroring was the first track to host the competition beyond the Iron Curtain, back 1986.
The track is located in Mogyoród, is 4.381 km (2.722 miles) long, and has 14 turns.
Lewis Hamilton has won the Hungarian Grand Prix the most times, finishing first on eight different occasions. His last victory in Hungary however dates back to 2020. Max Verstappen has managed to win twice at the circuit.
