Sergio Perez rumours pointing to a return to F1 abound, and this key revelation from a source close to the Mexican driver 'ensures' the former Red Bull Racing driver's comeback to the pinnacle of motorsport.

For O'Ward, the 6-time F1 Grand Prix winner's legend status is locked in regardless if he does return to F1 or not. "If he chooses not to return, he will continue to be an idol. I don't think much will change there."
The busy F1 calendar of 24 Grand Prix per season will have an impact on the Gudalajara-born driver, O'Ward believes, an even states that money will play a substantial role in Perez's decision to resume his role as F1 full-time driver.
But is Perez' return a done deal? Yes or no? Upon further questioning O'Ward revealed: "Yes. I saw him training. He wouldn't be training if he wasn't coming back."
