Russell has some fun in the stands with Mexico City fans

While George Russell sat out of the first free practice session at the Mexico City Grand Prix, he made sure he had some fun while out of the car.
The Brit, who officially signed a contract extension before the United States Grand Prix, was not behind the wheel in FP1, allowing reserve driver Frederik Vesti to get some miles out on track with a P14 finish.
However, although there was no on-track entertainment for the 27-year-old, he made up for it by joining the crowds to watch the action take place, but with a Mexican-inspired disguse.

Russell, the Mexican wrestler in the stands

To get the full Mexico City experience at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, Russell made his way up into the stands, but with a Mexican wrestler's mask hiding himself from the fans in the stands.
The 27-year-old raced up the stair with mask fixed to his face, finding a spare seat in the stands through the tight, twisting section of the final sector, and none of the fans around him were able to detect who the mysterious masked man was.
"I enjoyed that a lot!" Russell stated when he made it back near his garage, but he was also taken aback by the heat underneath the mask: "That was warm!"
