F1 rookie, Isack Hadjar, has impressed Helmut Marko throughout the 2025 season, with the Austrian praising Hadjar's abilities at Las Vegas recently, after Hadjar finished in sixth place. The fact he said it, means a lot. I agree with it.
- Isack HadjarHadjar has had a stellar start to his F1 career, scoring a maiden podium at the Dutch Grand Prix earlier this season, and
has seat security for 2026 as well, with Red Bull announcing their line-ups for next year in a couple of days. The Frenchman has come a long way since the start of the season at the Australian Grand Prix, where he crashed out on the formation lap, and received criticism from Marko.
The rookie has shown up to circuits that he has never previously raced at, and immediately managed to deliver impressive results and lap times. This was also seen at the Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend, where Hadjar was exceptionally fast throughout the weekend, and able to be inside the Top 10 for every single session.
Marko has recently praised Hadjar on this ability, being able to adapt to every circuit quickly.

Reacting to the praise he received from the top advisor, Hadjar stated: "He doesn't highlight my quality in front of me, that's for sure! It's not something he does. But the fact he said it, means a lot, and I agree with it. I worked a lot on it. It's only the beginning now, I know most of the tracks, every track on the calendar. I feel like if I had to do a second year, third year, fourth year, I would come and it would be so much easier. It's a good start."
When asked about the new technical regulations for 2026 and how his adaptability may help with the new cars, Hadjar stated: "It's good, perfect. In my life I've never repeated a season with the same car. I don't know what it's like to have two seasons. Even when I did two years in F2, there was a change in the regulations, there was a brand new car."
