Red Bull will soon announce its driver line-ups for the 2026 season. According to Isack Hadjar, his performance in Qatar will not influence the decision. "I can have the worst weekend in history, now it's not going to change anything."
- Isack HadjarCurrently, two drivers have contracts for the upcoming season within the Red Bull family:
Max Verstappen announced during the Hungarian Grand Prix that he would remain with the team for 2026, and
Isack Hadjar also previously said he enjoys seat security for next year. All signs point to the Frenchman getting a promotion for next season to
Red Bull Racing.
In a couple of days, Red Bull's decision will be shared with the public. Talking to GPblog in Qatar, the rookie explained that this weekend will not affect his future. He said: "Absolutely not.
"You don't decide based on whether it's race 22 or 23, you take the average, that's how you take a decision. So I can have the worst weekend in history, now it's not going to change anything."

The Frenchman believes he has improved as a driver on multiple levels over the course of the season, including the technical understanding of
F1.
He explained: "[I] Made good steps everywhere, but especially on this one."
After an impressive rookie campaign and the highlight of scoring his first F1 podium at the Dutch Grand Prix, Hadjar currently has the second-most points among the Red Bull family’s drivers entering the final two rounds. The Frenchman sits in ninth place in the standings with 51 points.
