Apple TV has announced that Formula 1 fans in the United States will be able to watch as many as five Grands Prix in IMAX cinemas this year. More specifically, fans will be able to watch the Miami, Monaco, Silverstone, Monza and Austin Grands Prix, enjoying a fully immersive, cinema-style audio and visual experience as if they were watching a film.
The IMAX screenings will start with the
Miami Grand Prix on May 3, before moving to Monaco on June 7 and Silverstone on July 5. After the summer break, fans will be able to watch the
Italian Grand Prix at Monza on September 6, with the
United States Grand Prix in Austin closing the run on October 25.
Tickets for the upcoming Florida round will go on sale from April 10.

The Cupertino-based tech giant was also actively involved in the production of F1: The Movie, marking a clear intent to establish an increasingly strong presence in the world of Formula 1.

The film’s strong global reception has only accelerated those talks, with Kosinski open to returning after enjoying the experience of making the first instalment.
Behind the scenes, Apple CEO Tim Cook has also confirmed that conversations are ongoing, pointing to the film’s success as a major summer hit. He praised the level of talent involved, singling out Pitt’s performance, while stressing Apple’s pride in the project and its intention to build on that momentum.
