Helmut Marko is still convinced that Sebastian Vettel will perform better at the Aston Martin F1 Team in the coming years than he has at Ferrari in recent years. According to the Red Bull Racing advisor, the four-time world champion will be able to get along much better with a Mercedes engine.
The current Racing Point will undergo a name change next season and will then go through life as Aston Martin. Like this year, the 2021 car will consist of many Mercedes components and Marko thinks that this will be to Vettel's advantage.

At Ferrari a different type of car is driven. Charles Leclerc has proven over the last two years that the philosophy of the Maranello race stable suits him perfectly, but for Vettel this is certainly not the case. For the time being, Vettel is in a disappointing thirteenth place in the World Championship, while his team mate is in a neat sixth place.
"If the Aston Martin with all the Mercedes technology is tuned back to Vettel in 2021, we could all relive the blue miracle," Marko at TZ.de refers to the fact that Vettel won four World Championships in a row at Red Bull between 2010 and 2013. "I hope not for my own good, of course."
