The 2025 Formula 1 season was not only thrilling in the fight for the Drivers’ Championship but also delivered plenty of intrigue in the Constructors’ standings. So how did the teams fare compared to their 2024 campaigns? The 2025 season, from
the constructors’ championship point of view, firmly had the McLaren team’s imprint on it. The Woking-based outfit won as many as 14 races, equally split between both drivers – Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
Both drivers also recorded podium finishes in excess of 30, and it was little wonder the
McLaren team racked up 833 points, over 150 more in the standings compared to 2024.

McLaren were followed by Mercedes, who were a distant second with a total of 469 points, just one point better than what was achieved by the team in 2024. However, that marginal improvement translated into a gain of two positions in the Constructors’ Championship.
Red Bull Racing claimed third spot on the standings, though with fewer points, 451, compared to 2024, the Milton Keynes-based outfit were able to maintain the position it achieved last season.
The Scuderia
Ferrari team endured a forgettable campaign, and this challenging season was well reflected in the team’s position in the Constructors’ standings. From finishing second in 2024 with 652 points, the Maranello-based outfit could only muster 398 points and a fourth-place finish in 2025.
The
Williams Racing outfit appeared the biggest movers of the recently concluded season, with the Grove-based team recording a staggering 137 points to secure fifth in the standings, 120 points more than the 17 the team accumulated in 2024.

The
Racing Bulls team also clawed up a staggering 92 points for sixth place, more than the 58 it achieved in 2024, which gave it eighth place.
The Aston Martin team suffered a dip in the season, recording 89 points for seventh place, fewer than the 94 it achieved last season, when it finished fifth in the standings.
The Haas team, despite scoring more points in 2025 compared to 2024, finished a place lower in the teams’ championship. It's 79 points in 2025, which could only afford eighth place in the standings.
The Stake
F1 Kick Sauber Team also made a massive leap regarding points finish, recording 70 points, 66 more than what was recorded in 2024. However, its improved points haul only translated into a ninth-place finish in the standings.
Alpine suffered arguably the biggest decline of all teams in 2025, finishing plum last with 22 points in the standings, 45 points off its 2024 tally, which had been enough for sixth place.
