McLaren reacts to 'pretty awesome' Constructors’ title win

The duo described their success as “pretty awesome” before lauding the efforts of the team back at the MTC.
Stella further added that it feels incredible for the team to claim the championship with six races left on the calendar.

Brown and Stella speak at the FIA gala

Brown, who was the first of the duo to speak during the FIA Gala, lauded every member of the McLaren outfit. The 54-year-old also stressed how delighted he was with the team’s achievement.
“Fantastic season. All the men and women at McLaren have done an unbelievable job, led by our two awesome drivers. Of course, the job Andrea has done leading our team, and to go into the final race with two drivers fighting for the World Championship when everyone said that couldn't be done… I'm just very proud of how McLaren went racing, and that's exactly what we plan to do next year.”
Team principal Stella, corroborating the words of CEO Brown, added:
“Well, the drivers are those who do the job. They are the ones that deliver the results, the points, the victories, the podiums, which ultimately made us the Constructors’ Champions.”
“Also, we are very proud of how the drivers conducted themselves, allowing McLaren to go racing. That's what we do. We go racing, and we did it with equality and fairness. So thank you to Lando and Oscar,” he concluded.
