Lando Norris won his first world championship as McLaren took both the Drivers' title and the Constructors' crown. Max Verstappen won in Abu Dhabi from pole position while
Oscar Piastri took second ahead of Norris.
McLaren already clinched the Constructors' Championship in Singapore, ahead of the
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The British team ended the season with
Lando Norris winning his first world championship.
Mercedes took second in the team's standings as they prevailed in their battle with Red Bull and Ferrari.
Max Verstappen dragged Red Bull to third place as his teammates Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda struggled.
Ferrari took fourth place in the championship in their first winless year since the 2020 season.
