Kelly Piquet shares new holiday images with Verstappen and Lily from Portugal

In a week and a half, the Formula 1 season resumes at Zandvoort with Verstappen's home Grand Prix.

Until then, drivers are still on holiday and trying to recharge for the second half of the campaign. Verstappen is also enjoying his time with family and friends, with his partner Kelly Piquet sharing various photos from their trip to Portugal.

She also shared photos from the beach with Lily, their first daughter together.

Lily was born ahead of the 2025 Miami Grand Prix. She is now more than a year old and is beginning to understand more about the world.

The four-time champion said to Formule 1 Magazine: "Our daughter Lily is my greatest achievement. Family is the most important thing to me anyway."

Therefore, the Dutchman explained that it is becoming harder to leave her at home when he goes racing around the world.

The Red Bull Racing driver explained that he had experienced the same when his father, Jos, was competing in Formula 1 as well. "I know I did that myself when I was little and my father left home. Crying and stuff. My father always found that difficult too."
