The 50-year-old, in his assessment, named both his brother and the Red Bull Racing driver as what he considers his ultimate driving pair.
Schumacher further highlighted his belief that both drivers would get along very well, considering their high level, and also predicted a fiercely competitive dynamic.
"My brother and Max Verstappen. That would be very interesting. They would get along well because they are both at a high level and very sensible at the same time. I think that would be a very healthy fight. But purely in terms of skill, they are the two best drivers I've seen in Formula 1,” Schumacher said via the Backstage Boxengasse podcast.

The former Williams F1 driver also highlighted their ability to deliver under pressure and consistently outperform their teammates as a defining trait.
"The ability to deliver performances under pressure, to always be faster than the teammate, and to really get the best out of the car and the team, that is what distinguishes the two drivers,” he concluded.
Both Verstappen and Schumacher are widely regarded among the best drivers to ever grace F1. Schumacher racked up seven drivers’ championships during his racing career, including five with Scuderia Ferrari, while Verstappen has so far claimed four titles.
