Campos Racing driver Noel Leon converted pole position into victory in the Formula 2 Sprint Race in Monaco, crossing the line ahead of Roman Bilinski and Gabriele Mini, who completed the podium. It was a largely uneventful race around the streets of the Principality, with few significant moments disrupting the order at the front.
Leon held onto the lead at the start, with Bilinski and Mini slotting into second and third respectively. It was a clean getaway with no major incidents to report, unlike the Formula 3 race earlier in the day, where several drivers became stuck at the hairpin.
At the start, Alex Dunne lost two positions and slipped from seventh to ninth, while the rest of the field made it through the opening laps without any significant changes. Further ahead, Maini briefly closed in on Stenshorne and appeared ready to launch an attack into the chicane after the tunnel, but ultimately decided against the move and remained tucked in behind his rival.
The leading group remained tightly packed throughout the opening laps, with Rafael Camara running eighth and Dunne directly behind him. However, Leon was unable to break away at the front, holding an advantage of just three tenths over second place.

As the race entered its latter stages, Leon remained in control at the front, although Bilinski refused to let the Campos driver escape. The gap between the two continued to fluctuate from lap to lap, eventually shrinking back to just a few tenths of a second as Bilinski stayed firmly within striking distance.
The race featured very little overtaking throughout the field, with only a handful of position changes taking place. Among the few successful moves were Miyata's pass on Inthraphuvasak at Tabac to move up into 11th place, while Boya also gained a position after getting past Van Hoepen for 15th. On lap 25, Inthraphuvasak began slowing and dropped down the order to 21st place before eventually being forced to retire.
Despite missing out on victory, the championship leader still managed to extend his advantage over Camara, who spent the entire race stuck in traffic and never found the opportunity to work his way further up the order.
