A pair of drivers were fined for speeding in the pit lane during FP3 for the Monaco Grand Prix. The drivers involved were Alexander Albon and Franco Colapinto, with the latter also finding the barriers during the session.
More specifically, Albon was recorded at 60.2 km/h in the pit lane, exceeding the speed limit for the event by just 0.2 km/h. As a result, Williams received a €100 fine from the FIA.
Colapinto, meanwhile, received a slightly harsher penalty after being clocked at 68.9 km/h in the pit lane, 8.9 km/h above the 60 km/h speed limit in force for the Monaco weekend. As a result, Alpine was handed a €900 fine by the FIA.
