Brad Pitt admitted he had a great time filming the driving scenes as the fictional APX GP driver — but will he now embark on a real racing career once filming is over?
Now that filming for 'F1', the new Formula 1-themed movie set to hit theaters on June 27, has wrapped up, Brad Pitt may not be done with motorsport just yet.
The Hollywood superstar, speaking to Will Buxton in an interview for Formula 1’s official YouTube channel, hinted at what his future plans might be once his time as APX GP’s fictional driver comes to an end.
Will Brad Pitt become an actual racing driver?
''I thought about it'', Pitt replied when answering the question about a potential carrer in motorsport.
''I mean, certainly in another universe, you know, you take these directions in life. And it's an interesting daydream of mine. Newman started when he was 54. Yeah, it just did it for himself. And yeah, pure enjoyment of it''.
''It's not one of those things. I need I need racecraft be my next training because I still, you know, just having that experience of defending or passing in the rain or, you know, that kind of thing''.
