Sky Sports reporter Ted Kravitz believes Lewis Hamilton should focus on one key area for next season.
“The only thing he needs to address is the qualifying performance, because the rest is just whether Ferrari listen to him on the changes he wants”

Appearing on the Sky F1 show, Kravitz believes the seven-time world champion should focus particularly on qualifying — an area where he clearly lagged behind Charles Leclerc this year.
“The only thing he needs to address is the qualifying performance, because the rest is just whether Ferrari listen to him on the changes he wants,” he said.
Hamilton has shown he hasn’t fully adapted to the ground-effect generation of cars, with Kravitz suggesting that if the same issues persist next year, his stint at Ferrari could be over within twelve months.

“Are they going to take Hamilton's advice and on board? Or is the little deficit, the one deficit he's got, which is the qualifying performance and pace, especially when it comes to Q3, and this generation of cars and this generation of tyres, will that be rectified? But if that carries on to 2026, then I think you're probably looking at him just seeing out his contract at Ferrari for one more year.”

Hamilton warned against 'acting like an engineer' amid Vettel parallel

Earlier this year, Hamilton made waves after sending the team a set of documents suggesting changes — not just to the car, but also to how the team operates internally. His goal, he said, was to open up a conversation rather than dictate orders.
Reflecting on this, the former Ferrari team principal told Sky Sport Italy that Sebastian Vettel used to do something similar. Still, he stressed that a driver’s main job is to drive, not to act as an engineer.
