The Monaco Grand Prix weekend has unfolded in frenetic fashion so far, but could the weather yet add an extra twist to the action at the Principality? Here is the weather forecast for the Monaco GP race. The weekend action kicked off with the Scuderia
Ferrari outfit dominating Friday’s running, with both
Charles Leclerc and
Lewis Hamilton trading positions at the top of the timing sheets during Free Practice 1 and Free Practice 2, with only
Max Verstappen within touching distance of the pair.
However, Saturday’s action on the Monte Carlo streets opened with a slightly different narrative, as much of the front-running field appeared to finally find their sweet spot and close the gap to Ferrari.
Kimi Antonelli ultimately bested both Leclerc and Hamilton to top the timing sheets in Free Practice 3.

Qualifying proved to be nothing short of nerve-wracking, with drivers constantly trading places at the top of the order. At the end of the pulsating hour-long session, it was Antonelli who secured pole ahead of Verstappen, just 43 milliseconds adrift of the championship leader. The Ferraris were only quick enough for the second row, prompting Hamilton to admit the team felt it had lost performance heading into qualifying.
The head-scratching continued further down the grid, with George
Russell left bamboozled by his teammate Antonelli’s pace as he could only manage sixth place. Russell will start the race alongside
Isack Hadjar on the third row.
Concerns also lingered for McLaren, with Lando
Norris and Oscar Piastri only managing a fourth-row lockout after a difficult qualifying session. However, one constant throughout the weekend has been the weather, with clear skies persisting across every session so far and no sign of rain. But could that finally change for the all-important Monaco Grand Prix?
