In a recent video released by Red Bull, the British engineer pointed to
Max Verstappen’s victory at the 2019
Brazilian Grand Prix, when the Dutch star — still yet to become a world champion — claimed the seventh win of his career after dominating the race from pole position.
“My best racing memory personally is from Brazil 2019 which now feels like a long time ago I guess to keep bringing up, but for me that's when basically we had quite a unique decision to make under the safety car at the end of the race,” she said.
“We chose to pit Max and that meant giving up the lead which was quite a difficult choice to make. He then passed Hamilton to take back the lead and it was also when I got the honour of getting to stand on the podium and accept the Constructors' Trophy on behalf of the team, so for me that's definitely a career highlight.”

Melbourne track names corner after the woman behind Verstappen's success
Turn 6 at Melbourne’s Albert Park circuit is set to be renamed in honour of some of
Formula 1’s most influential female engineers, including Hannah Schmitz.
More specifically, the corner — titled ‘In Her Corner’ — will recognise both Schmitz and Laura Müller, Esteban Ocon’s race engineer and the first woman in Formula 1 history to hold that position.
