Fans express concern over Max Verstappen's second plac versus Oscar Piastri's sprint pole

Max Verstappen finished Sprint Qualifying in second place. The internet is, however, concerned about the gap to Oscar Piastri, who also defeated teammate Lando Norris by a significant margin.
Verstappen himself stated after Sprint qualifying that second place was a good result. According to the Dutchman, Verstappen and the team got the maximum out of the car. He did mention the gap ahead, which is just over four and a half tenths of a second. On X, fans were excited about the result, but there are also concerns about Piastri.

Meanwhile, the gap between Piastri and Norris also stood out to fans. The latter managed to win the last two races, which reduced the championship gap to eight points. With the Australians' sprint pole and the difference between the two, the internet thinks that Piastri will go on to win the title.

For Tsunoda, it was a session to forget. The Japanese driver missed out on SQ2, with a difference of six hundredths of a second to Piastri, who was on the brink of elimination in the second part of qualifying for the sprint race. On the internet, some people still see chances for Tsunoda, while others are less positive about the performances of Verstappen's teammate.
