Audi has revealed a fresh look ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, while Red Bull’s latest financial accounts offer an insight into a turbulent period of leadership changes and restructuring within the team. These are the biggest Formula 1 stories making headlines today.
Audi unveils striking new livery for Singapore GP weekend
Audi will bring a completely different visual identity to the Marina Bay circuit, with the RS26 receiving a one-off livery for the Singapore Grand Prix. Rather than simply introducing a new colour scheme, the German manufacturer has based the design around two characteristics of the host city: its famous transition into a night-time setting and its cultural heritage.
At the heart of the new look is a reinterpretation of Audi's Titanium Silver Grey. A blue shimmer has been added to the finish to recreate the changing colours and reflections seen across Singapore as daylight fades into dusk and eventually darkness. The appearance of the car will therefore vary depending on the surrounding light, with the effect expected to become especially prominent beneath the floodlights during the night sessions at Marina Bay.
Singapore's Peranakan heritage provides the other key influence. Audi has introduced a traditional Peranakan-inspired pattern across the RS26's sidepods and rear wing, bringing a distinctly local element to the car. Combined with the changing silver and blue finish, the detailing connects Singapore's traditions with the modern visual spectacle associated with its Formula 1 weekend.

Red Bull accounts reveal huge exit compensation after Christian Horner's departure
Red Bull Racing’s latest financial filing offers a clearer picture of the scale of the changes that took place behind the scenes in 2025. The accounts include a substantial payment for loss of office assigned to the company’s highest-paid director, although no name is attached to the figure.
Separate information contained in the consolidated accounts of Red Bull Technology Limited also includes director-related payments, potentially taking Christian Horner’s overall severance package considerably higher, though the documents do not explicitly confirm him as the recipient.
Those changes came at a significant cost to the business, with both administrative and payroll expenses increasing considerably compared with the previous year. Red Bull primarily linked the higher expenditure to the restructuring of its operations, but the available figures do not allow the entire increase to be connected specifically to Horner’s exit. Even with those additional costs, the company enjoyed a much stronger financial year, recording higher turnover, operating profit and profit after tax than in 2024.

The financial results arrived during what Red Bull itself described as a transitional season. A drop in competitive performance resulted in lower prize-money income, while major changes were also made to the leadership structure, including Horner’s resignation from the board and Laurent Mekies’ subsequent appointment. The report also looks towards the team’s next chapter, with Red Bull Ford Powertrains and the transition to full works status from 2026 identified as important elements of its future direction.
