Formula 1 heads to Singapore for a sprint weekend at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on October 9–11. With just one practice session before the competitive action begins, here is the full timetable and how viewers can follow every session.
The sprint format changes the usual running order, with Friday featuring free practice and sprint qualifying. Saturday brings the sprint race before qualifying determines the grid for Sunday’s grand prix.
The main race starts at 1pm BST on Sunday, October 11, with Sky Sports F1 providing live coverage throughout the weekend. Free-to-air highlights will also be available on Channel 4 in the UK.
When does the Singapore GP weekend begin?
The first and only practice session starts at 9.30am BST on Friday, October 9. Teams and drivers then return for sprint qualifying at 1.30pm, which sets the grid for Saturday’s shorter race.

The sprint begins at 10am BST on Saturday, October 10. Attention then turns to grand prix qualifying at 2pm, ahead of Sunday’s race.

How to watch the Singapore Grand Prix live
Sky Sports F1 will broadcast every session live in the UK. Friday’s coverage begins at 9am for practice, followed by the sprint qualifying programme at 1pm.

On Saturday, sprint coverage starts at 9am, with the qualifying broadcast beginning at 1pm. Sunday’s grand prix build-up gets under way at midday, an hour before the race starts.
Sky Sports Main Event will also carry selected coverage, including the grand prix.
For online viewing, Sky subscribers can use Sky Go or the Sky Sports app, depending on their package. Viewers without a Sky subscription can stream Sky Sports coverage through NOW.
For those without access, GPBlog will run a live blog for all the F1 sessions.
When are Singapore GP highlights available?

Channel 4 will show free-to-air highlights for viewers unable to watch live.
Sprint qualifying highlights are scheduled for 6.30pm on Friday, while highlights covering Saturday’s sprint and grand prix qualifying are listed for 6pm.
Sunday’s race highlights are scheduled for 5.30pm, giving viewers another opportunity to catch the action from Marina Bay.
