A filmmaker with a soft spot for Ronnie Peterson, Gilles Villeneuve, Mika Hakkinen and above all, Tazio Nuvolari and Ayrton Senna, is also a diehard Formula One fan since the age of 4 (mid-90's). Daniel Ricciardo, known also as the honey badger, was ever the darling of the F1 paddock during his tenure as a Formula One driver. However, his last social media post may have hurt his image some.

Since his retirement from F1 racing Ricciardo has been laying low. Recently he announced a partnership with Australian betting site Dabble on his X account, which is set to make NFL game day experiences more immersive for fans.
A contest named 'The Ultimate Texas Tailgate with Daniel Ricciardo' has been made available only for people residing in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. Winners will receive flights, three-night stay, VIP tickets to the tailgate party and meeting the Aussie former F1 driver.
The response to the endeavor however, has been less than positive among the fans, with some saying that the former F1 star should 'pack it up.'
