Lando Norris is coming off of an important win at the Red Bull Ring. Up next is the Briton's home Grand Prix on the Formula 1 calendar at the Silverstone track. Find out where and when to watch the British GP here! How are teams and drivers entering the British Grand Prix?
After his mishap at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve where he crashed into his teammate, Oscar Piastri,
Norris bounced back the perfect way, winning at the Red Bull Ring. The Australian driver finished in second place,
completing a dominant McLaren 1-2.
There are three other drivers competing under the British flag that call this upcoming weekend their home Grand Prix:
Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Oliver Bearman. Alex Albon was born in London, but he competes under the Thai flag, where his mother is from.
In Spielberg, Hamilton finished in fourth place behind his teammate Charles Leclerc, but confidently ahead of George Russell, showing Ferrari could take a step forward.
It was a weekend to forget for
Max Verstappen. The Dutchman
got hit by Kimi Antonelli into Turn 3 on Lap 1, and therefore did not score any points. As a result, he is now 61 points behind Oscar Piastri in the standings,
leaving him in a difficult position in that regard.
